On my way from San Francisco to Delhi non-stop, I saw we were flying over Afghanistan. I looked out of the window and caught a glimpse of a runway. A bit of detective work later, using Google Maps, and I figured it was Kabul International Airport. I don't believe the Taliban had those kind of SAM's in 2018. At least that's what I was telling myself at the time.
