I've been to China 8 times (as of 2021). First time 1987 - very, very different from today. More recently, it was either stopping over on my way to somewhere else, or visiting friends, or doing a Habitat For Humanity build. I think I've seen most of the famous sights. Lhasa was the highlight for me.
